IT Concepts (ITC) Awarded CMS | COBOL Programmers Contract
IT Concepts (ITC) was awarded the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) COBOL Programmers contract. This contract provides services to the National Claims History (NCH) Data Repository, Medicare Quality Assurance (MQA), Medicare Quality Release (MQR), Medicare Provider Analysis and Review (MedPAR), and other auxiliary applications.
ITC will provide support for the maintenance and enhancement of the NCH, MQA, MQR, MedPAR, and MedPar Baystate DB2, incurred but not Reported (IBNR), Death Master File (DMF), Payment Record Processing (PRP), Statistical Tabulation System (*STS), Part B Summary (SUM) Enterprise Cross Reference System (ECR), tables and auxiliary files. This includes systems analysis, design, development support, programming, testing, data analysis, system documentation, and special projects.
This initiative is part of a continuing expansion of the CMS systems which includes enhancements to the files, including quality assurance, linkages between new and established systems, and general support of CMS systems activities. As the Legacy Systems modernization progresses, ITC will support the transition of these legacy systems to the modernized systems, research, and implementation of modernization systems across CMS personnel of multiple disciplines.
This is the first award at CMS for ITC, and they look forward to working in tandem with CMS leadership to modernize legacy systems and provide expertise and experience with IT, Data, and Management services.
